Pool Barrier Inspections Armadale
Considered as one of the blue-chip areas in Melbourne - and located between the suburbs of Prahran and Malvern, Armadale residents that own a swimming pool or spa are now required to undergo pool barrier inspections. On 1 December 2019, new laws came into effect in Victoria to improve swimming pool and spa safety.
Under the new regulations, swimming pools and spas that can hold over 300 mm of water need to be registered and lodge a certificate of compliance with their local council. Barriers are mandatory for indoor pools and spas, in-ground pools and spas, and above-ground pools and spas, including inflatable and relocatable pools that can hold over 300 mm of water and need assembly on site.
We know pool barrier inspections can be daunting, especially if you don’t know where to start. My Pool Inspector also conducts pool or spa compliance inspections in South Yarra and other neighbouring suburbs of Toorak, St Kilda East and Caulfield North.
Pool barrier inspections are mandated to ensure that pool fences follow the regulations set by their local council. It aims to keep children five years and below from accessing the pool without adult supervision.
For questions on pool or spa compliance processes and other pool barrier inspection concerns, don’t hesitate to contact us. Our fully licenced pool inspectors can get the job done efficiently. Let us know if you need any help booking your pool barrier inspection.
