Pool Barrier Inspections Mornington
A beautiful coastal town, Mornington is known for its beautiful beaches and “village” atmosphere. Similar to the nearby suburbs of Mount Eliza, Mount Martha and all of Victoria, properties that have swimming pools and spas are now mandated by law to undergo pool barrier inspections.
The new regulations came into effect on 1 December 2019 and cover all swimming pools and spas that can hold over 300 mm of water. It includes in-ground pools and spa, indoor pools and spa, and above-ground pools and spas (inflatable and relocatable pools that can hold over 300 mm of water).
Before booking a pool or spa compliance inspection, you need to register your pool or spa with your local council first. Once your pool fence passes the pool barrier safety inspections, you will be issued a certificate of compliance that you need to lodge within 30 days of the date of issue of the certificate.
My Pool Inspector conducts pool barrier inspections in Mornington and the neighbouring suburbs of Baxter, Moorooduc, and all of the south east Melbourne region. We know pool barrier inspections can seem like a tedious task which is why our fully licenced pool inspectors made the whole process hassle-free.
For questions on pool or spa compliance regulations and other inquiries, please don’t hesitate to give us a call. Check our step by step guide on how to get your certificate of compliance and let us know if you need help.
